“I had two organizing projects. The first one was to create a usable office space. The second: to clean out and organize my laundry room. Julie came and looked at the spaces and asked about goals. She’s looking for your thought process and clarifies what you’re needing. For the office, my kids are gone, and I had two rooms upstairs that could work. I was thinking one room, but when we were looking at the ‘junk’ room, Julie suggested repurposing that room. It had two windows and more natural light, which is important to me, but for some reason, I hadn’t considered it. Julie opened my mind to a whole new possibility, and I realized that it was a better option. I was able to leave my son’s room as the guest room and have the office with more light.
